Dr. Mays didn’t want a lot of fancy customization— just a little help setting up an out-of-the-box WordPress theme designed for authors to showcase their work. We set up a place for him to blog, and a mailing list to gather his fans and followers into a space he had control over, and he went from there. I customized the header with a section featuring a call-out quote and his latest book.
